Breadth, TICK, and Volume Difference (of Breadth) (12:00 PM EST) with Corey Rosenbloom, CMT

BioCorey Rosenbloom

My name is Corey Rosenbloom, CMT (Chartered Market Technician) trader, educator, analyst, and I am excited to share with you my experiences studying and trading the markets and to hear from you regarding your experiences, challenges, and frustrations, and successes. My goal is to create a community dedicated to reaching out to those who have been burned by the market or are anxious about risking their money to make money in the stock, options, or futures markets. Together, we can share strategies and learn how to overcome crippling fears that keep us from achieving our highest potential. I have been investing for the last 10 years but discovered the addictive world of trading during the wicked bear market of 2001-2002 and began actively trading the market short-term mid-2003. After some bad trades following some early large successes (due to overconfidence and over-leverage), fear gripped me to the core and I spent the next three years oscillating between love and hate for the trading world and committed to learning as much as I could before committing more money to the active trading of the markets. I fought a constant battle with perfectionism and fear, and wanted to reach out to others beginning their trading careers who may be struggling as I did with “fear of the order entry screen.” I deeply enjoy education, research, and analysis and would love to help you to improve your edge so that you can increase your confidence in yourself and your abilities. Trading without a solid education, as well as a personalized method of quantifying abstract market data, can cost you not only hard-earned money, but your confidence and your dreams of success. I would love to connect with others who are progressing through their lifetime learning cycles in the market and unite us through a community that fosters a supportive environment of networking.

Building a Trading Strategy Using Market Profile (12:00 PM EST) with Robin Mesch

BioRobin Mesch

Robin Mesch of Robin Mesch Associates works with traders worldwide, providing market education for the professional trader based on the RMA METHODOLOGY. Robin began her trading career in 1984 when she was introduced to Charles Drummond, the brilliant founder of an esoteric methodology for forecasting the markets called P&L, which Robin later coined,"Drummond Geometry" in her Mesch Market Commentary. Robin joined his elite group of students and matured as a market analyst and trader under his tutelage of 18 years, during which time she developed his software and assisted in the creation of a number of his proprietary indicators. In 1985, Robin also began her studies of Market Profile with Peter Steidlmayer ,a true market visionary and foundational thinker in the industry who greatly impacted her work. Steidlmayer's revolutionary principles of market behavior radically changed the industry's view of the market. Robin served as his translator to the industry through her well-known Mesch Market Commentary and her work as editor of his book 141 West Jackson, A Journey Through Market Discovery. Steidlmayer's uncovering of the existence of a 2-dimensional relational database was revolutionary. Drummond's inventive approach to creating support and resistance was groundbreaking. Robin was fortunate to be one of the few traders in the world to work extensively with these industry giants and achieve a comprehensive understanding of their market theories. The integration of these two schools of thought was only the starting point of what was later to emerge as the RMA Methodology. In 1999 Robin began to impart her methodology and software package of proprietary indicators to experienced traders through the RMA Advanced Trader Education Program, which is a live, interactive, online trading program. This is an intensive program for traders wanting to substantially raise the bar on their trading performance. Robin's methodology and analysis of the market are regularly featured on CNBC and have been profiled in books such as Bloomberg's New Thinking in Technical Analysis, Bulls, Bears, and Millionaires, The Outer Game of Trading, The Day Traders Advantage, The Tao of Trading, and Women of the Pits and numerous journals and periodicals such as the New York Times, Canadian Business, and Managed Accounts Review. Ms. Mesch is a graduate of Brown University with a BA in Religious Studies and Semiotics.
