Re:  San Francisco MTA Event September 18th

Dear MTA Members, Affiliates and friends of Technical Analysis:

The Market Technicians Association (MTA) is hosting a special West Coast Regional Seminar to be held at the Parc 55 Hotel in downtown San Francisco, two blocks from Union Square. This is the first Regional Seminar of several to be held at select areas of the country. This special event has been planned as a benefit to membership as well as expanding the appreciation of Technical Analysis for others interested in expanding their knowledge.

The Seminar is one day event with several prominent technicians speaking. The day's Keynote Speaker will be Peter Eliades. Peter won the Dow Award in 2000 for his paper, "Sign of the Bear." He is one my favorite speakers due to his extensive decades of research and his passion for his technical work and studies. The Speaker list is extensive and well known for their work, see below for full details. The day will end with the popular Round Table Event.

The MTA has decided make this event at no-charge for MTA members ($50 for non-members), which is incredible! This is a seminar that you will want to take advantage of. A great day for education and networking!

San Francisco is on of my favorite cities to visit for a weekend. The flight from LA is short. You can take the convenient train directly to Union Station. The MTA also has a block of rooms at the hotel at a favorable price. Whether you fly up for a solid day of insightful market analysis or make a nice weekend of the trip, I believe you will have a great time. For those, making a weekend trip, the MTA is trying to plan a tour of the San Francisco Mint on Friday afternoon followed by a cocktail reception at the hotel (all the day prior to the event itself).

I am looking forward to this West Coast Seminar, and I hope to see you there! Specific information is attached below. If you have questions, feel free to contact me or Courtney Musarra at the MTA Office.

Best Regards,
