TOPIC: Our summer seminar this year will cover a broad spectrum of investment topics, presented by four prominent speakers and including a general Q&A panel session. Lunch is included. Speakers and topics, listed alphabetically, are:
SPEAKERS:
Bonnie Biafore, author of Personal Investing: The Missing Manual, will present "Less Failing and More Tasty Returns: Essentials of Fundamental Analysis."
Charles Farrell, author of Your Money Ratios: 8 Simple Tools for Financial Security and a principal of Northstar Investment Advisors LLC, will present "Money Ratios: Increase the Power and Speed of Your Financial Decisions."
Jason Meshnick, CMT, chair of the Market Technicians Association's Colorado chapter (www.MTA.org) and a member of the CFA Society of Colorado, will present "Less Failing and More Tasty Returns: Essentials of Technical Analysis."
Prof. John Nofsinger of Washington State University, author of Psychology of Investing and several other books on behavioral finance, will present "The Psycho Investor."
Our luncheon break will not feature any speaker, thus allowing attendees to spend time with speakers of their choice and/or exchange ideas with other members. A general Q&A session in the afternoon will include all four speakers.
The Beckman Center on the CCU campus is easily found, just NE of the intersection of two major streets in Lakewood (Alameda and Garrison), and only one mile west of Wadsworth. Ample free parking is adjacent to the building. The CCU campus is immediately north of the familiar landmark "spider church" building (unaffiliated with CCU).
