Trader Psychology and Belief Systems (New monthly segment) – we are starting this monthly discussion session to help our members deal with the cycles of mass market hysteria/apathy, mental structures/barriers and internal gremlins that all traders experience. Van Tharp, the internationally renowned trading coach and psychologist, says that trading is 100% psychology and if you do not change your belief system, you can never be successful trading the markets; do you believe that? Is Van Tharp right or wrong? Come prepared to bring your own experience to this discussion because in trading we learn from each other. |

Value Charts – Value in the markets is more relevant today than ever given current conditions. Remember that trading is only possible because there is an imbalance in the supply and demand for a particular market instrument and this causes differences in the buyer and seller’ value perceptions. Hence, the need for an objective indicator. David presented this topic several years ago at the Mason High School and it was very well-received; it is time for a refresher course. Refer to David’s book “Dynamic Trading Indicators” for further information. |
