Atlanta Chapter

Atlanta MTA & GSA Co-Host an Evening with Greg Morris

The Atlanta Chapter of the Market Technicians Association, in cooperation with the Georgia Securities Association, is pleased to announce an evening presentation by Gregory L. Morris at the Lenox Square Grill (the old Clubhouse restaurant) at Lenox Mall on Wednesday, April 14th.  Cocktails and light hors d'oeuvres will be served beginning at 5PM, with the presentation to begin at 5:45PM.  Please note that this presentation start time is earlier than most Atlanta MTA presentations.

Gregory Morris is Chief Technical Analyst for Stadion Money Management, a mutual fund firm based in Watkinsville, GA, and he was a co-founder of MurphyMorris Money Management, which was later merged into the PMFM family of funds - now Stadion.  Stadion is a unique money management company whose funds emphasize a multi-factor technical analysis model that determines when to be invested, with the goal being to be invested in uptrending markets and not invested in riskier and downtrending markets.  Greg is the architect of Stadion's technical models, and the firm has grown assets impressively over the past few years to $3.5B AUM.  Greg has an extensive background in technical analysis and indicator development, and is the author of both Candlestick Charting Explained and The Complete Guide to Market Breadth.  He is the former CEO of MurphyMorris Inc., a leading provider of web-based market analysis tools which he ran with his partner, former CNBC commentator John Murphy - the company was acquired by StockCharts.com Inc. in 2002.  Greg graduated from the University of Austin in 1971, has a BS degree in Aerospace Engineering, is a former Navy F-4 fighter pilot, and is a graduate of the Navy Fighter Weapons School known as Top Gun.

Space is limited.  Business attire only please.  RSVP is required for all attendees.  The event is free to MTA affiliates and members.  Sponsored guests who will be accompanied by an MTA member/affiliate may attend for a $25 fee, space permitting.  All attendees should RSVP to jtsnavely@comcast.net or members can register online at www.mta.org.  Guests, please list your sponsoring MTA member or affiliate.   See you there!
